Bukittinggi’s Tourist Objects
Bukittinggi is one of the major cities in West Sumatra. Bukittinggi named because it was located in mountainous areas and hilly. Bukittinggi is the highest town in West Sumatra, which reaches 950 meters high above sea level. This causes Bukittinggi cold and cool. In addition, Bukittinggi city tour has been called Tourist city, because there are many tourist objects that can be visited. As the Clock Tower, Sianok Canyon, Fort de Kock, Kinantan zoo, home birth of Bung Hatta, and the Hatta convention center. First is the Clock Tower. Clock Tower is a symbol of the city of Bukittinggi. Located in the downtown area with 26 meters high. Third is the Fort de Kock. The fort is a Dutch heritage buildings. The building is located on the hill west of the Clock Tower. The building was built as a defense of the Dutch troops at Padri War. Because located on the hill, we can also see the sights around the town of Bukittinggi. As information, this fortress is also close to other tourist attractions, named Kinantan zoo. Because of Bukittinggi is a city that popular among the tourists. Despite two weeks of vacation time I didn’t go to Bukittinggi, enough to tell me was feeling back to Bukittinggi.
